Siding Installation in Brantford
Exterior Cladding Built for Ontario Weather
Siding does the quiet work on a house. It sheds rain, takes the wind off the sheathing, and carries most of what people notice from the street. When it starts to fail, it usually shows up slowly — a warped run on the south wall, chalky colour on the side that gets the afternoon sun, a seam that has opened up behind a downspout.
Home Choice installs vinyl and aluminum siding on Brantford-area homes, and we colour-match the trim, soffit and fascia so the finished exterior reads as one job rather than three. We have been doing this work since 1999.
Low Maintenance
Vinyl and aluminum siding do not need painting or staining. Once it is on the house, upkeep is a rinse when it gets dusty.
Curb Appeal That Lasts
New cladding changes the look of a house more than almost any other exterior job, and modern colours hold up far better than older painted or faded stock.
One Coordinated Exterior
Siding, soffit, fascia and eavestrough are all part of the same envelope. We colour-match them and can do the work in one visit.
Why Brantford Homeowners Replace Their Siding
Brantford homes take a full range of Ontario weather — freeze-thaw through the winter, wind-driven rain off the open country to the south and west, and real heat in July. Older cladding works loose at the fasteners, cracks where it has gone brittle, and lets water sit where it should be draining.
Weather and Age
Cracking, warping, loose runs and chalky, faded colour are the usual signs that cladding has reached the end of its service life.
A Dated Exterior
Siding dates a house quickly. New cladding, trim and a matched roofline bring the whole exterior back up to date at once.
Siding Styles and Materials
We work in vinyl and aluminum. Vinyl is the most common choice on Brantford homes — it comes in a wide colour range, it is the more economical option, and it needs nothing beyond an occasional wash. Aluminum is the tougher of the two, holds a crisp edge on trim details, and is often the better answer on exposed walls and on older homes where the profile matters.
What we can supply and install:
- Vinyl siding in a wide range of colours and profiles
- Aluminum siding for exposed walls and crisp trim detail
- Colour-matched corners, trim and window surrounds
- Coordinated soffit, fascia and eavestrough in the same visit
- Physical samples brought to your home before you decide
- Free in-home estimates, with no high-pressure sales
We bring physical samples to your home so you can see the colour against your brick, your roof and the light your house actually gets. Photographs and showroom lighting both lie a little; the wall does not.
Our Siding Installation Process
Re-cladding a house is disruptive if it is handled badly and straightforward if it is not. Here is how the job runs.
In-Home Consultation
We walk the exterior with you, look at what has failed and why, and talk through materials and colour with samples in hand. The estimate is free and there is no pressure to decide on the spot.
Measurement and Quote
We measure the elevations, account for trim, corners and openings, and give you a written price that covers the work as scoped.
Material and Colour Selection
You choose the profile and colour, and we match the trim, soffit and fascia to it so the finished exterior is consistent.
Installation and Cleanup
Our crew removes the old cladding, installs the new siding and trim details, and cleans the site down before leaving.

Very impressed with the finished product, Home Choice gave the entry way to my home the overhaul it needed, as well as a patio door and a side entry way “hobbit” door. The craftsmanship that Peter puts into all his work shows and is something to be proud of.+0Posted on Google![]()

I had to replace my rear patio door. I got 7 or 8 quotes from across the Norfolk/Brant/Oxford area. Peter Debono was the best bang for my buck. Custom design. Odd sizing. Used premium materials that won’t rot or rust. Low overhead so no augmented prices to service a “fat” organisation. Peter is personable. He is available when needed. He provides excellent customer service. He honoured everything he promised. The install was professional and he cleaned up before he left. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone looking for doors or windows.Posted on Google![]()

Siding Questions
Vinyl or aluminum - which is right for my house?
Vinyl covers most homes well: the widest colour range, the lower price, and nothing to do but wash it occasionally. Aluminum is tougher and holds a crisp edge on trim details, which is why it often goes on exposed elevations and on older homes where the profile matters. We usually end up recommending one for the bulk of the house and the other for specific details rather than treating it as a single choice.
Can you put new siding over the old?
Sometimes, but it is worth asking why you would. Covering the existing cladding hides whatever is behind it, including damage to the sheathing that will keep getting worse. Taking the old material off lets us see the wall and deal with anything that has gone wrong. We will tell you honestly which your house needs after we look.
Will new siding make the house warmer?
On its own, less than people expect. Siding sheds water and takes the wind off the wall, but it is not insulation. The comfort gain usually comes from what is found and fixed while the old cladding is off, and from sealing the wall properly on the way back on.
How do I pick a colour I will not regret?
See it on your own house before you commit. We bring physical samples so you can hold them against your brick, your roof and your trim in daylight, which is the only reliable test. Colours that look right in a brochure or on a screen frequently do not once they are on a wall.
